Hey Everyone! This is the first rendition of our new playground! Some minor tweaks will be made in the coming weeks but this is it! We can't wait to see it for real and see the children having fun. There is a swing set but it is just not in the picture so no one panic. Don't forget we still need many more volunteers and you can help us out by clicking the button on your right.

This picture is beautiful. The children of the community will so enjoy it.
This is a wonderful project to bring out the best in any community. The community spirit you will gather from this project will be worth more than the playground itself. I was at the building of the LTBK project in Avondale and to watch the community come together - adults and children- was an amazing experience! Congratulations Bell Island...this is long overdue!!!
I am looking forward to helping build it and Jacob using it. It seems very similar to the structures in Bowring Park.....Jacob keep asking to go back. It will be nice to be able to walk to the playground with him. Let's hope it can stay "for the kids" and not be ruined by the few delinquents we have around.
Jacob just looked at the new part online and got very excited. He wanted to go right a way.....try to explain to a 3 year old about it being a month away...LOL
